Mitt material är framförallt stengodslera.
Jag gör utflykter i bildkonst, mest blandtekniker eller grafik, när ett
motiv kräver det, men tredimensionaliteten är min främsta 
uttrycksform.

A presently 49 yrs old sculptor who moved to Gotland, 
an island off the east coast of Sweden, in 1997.
My choice of material  above all is stoneware clay.
I do escape into making pictures,
mixed techniques or graphic art, when a motif needs it, but
the threedimensionality is my first and foremost way
of expressing myself.

Motivvalet följer två skilda linjer.

Den ena är den humoristiska,
empativäckande, ofta djur i mänsklig form, 
eller kanske människor i djurisk form?

Den andra är den allvarliga,
ofta med anknytning till den neolitiska och paleolitiska
europeiska kulturen, som jag engageras av och älskar
 att berätta om. Den berättar ju om vårt ursprung
och om vår kulturs ursprung. Den avslöjar också
mycket om vår nutid.

Jag fascineras allra mest av den matrilineära, matrilokala 
kultur som i många tusen år utvecklats och sedan
blivit krossad av patriarkatet men som ändå utgör grunden
på vilken patriarkatet och vår nuvarande sk kultur är 
byggd. All vår nuvarande teknik är bara vidareutveckling
på det som uppfanns under den matrifokala tiden.
Moderkulten var den första religionen och på den
bygger de nuvarande, patriarkala kulterna. 
Moder Jord är mitt favoritmotiv, som jag ständigt
upprepar i olika tekniker och material.

The choice of motif follows two separate lines.

One is the humouristic, empathyinducing line,
often animals in human form, or perhaps
humans in animal form?

The other is the serious line, often with associations
to the neolithic and paleolithic european cultures
that I am so drawn to and love to tell about.
They tell about our origins and about the
origins of our present culture. They also
reveal a lot about us now, in this age.

I am the most fascinated by the matrilinear,
matrifocal culture that evolved during many thousands
of years and then was crushed by the patriarchy and
still is the foundation on which patriarchy and our
present culture are built. The Great Earth Mother
is my favourite motif which I constantly
repeat in all kinds of materials and techniques.
